tanroad – our standard solution for national and international road transport
The transportation of packaged goods and of full and part loads by road is our standard solution for your freight forwarding requirements. The system we use for full and part loads is tanroad. There is no need for goods handling in the logistics centres, since the goods are delivered directly.
You are advised to opt for tanroad if you wish to send packaged goods weighing between 31.5 kg and 2.5 tons and the delivery period is reasonably flexible. On request, we will be pleased to provide you with information about the travel times on the routes we serve.
Since we use semi-trailers (for example) for road transportation, the dimensions for a full load should be as follows:
- Maximum weight: 21 t or 24 t (via RoRo)
- Maximum length: 13.60 m
- Maximum width: 2.45 m
- Maximum height: 2.70 m or 3 m (via mega trailer)
Part loads begin at 2.5 t. Up to 34 euro pallets can be transported in a semi-trailer. If necessary or if more cost-efficient, tan logistics also uses other types, such as box trucks/trailers (for the transport of hanging garments), jumbo trailers, mega trailers or roadtrains..
